Save Yourself (Official Video)
Premiered on YouTube, June 26, 2020
Written in the early days of the pandemic, “Save Yourself” is Steven Keene’s biting look at a world gripped by panic buying, crashing markets and every-man-for-himself thinking. Its sardonic chorus, “before you save the world, save yourself,” turned the slogan of the moment into a blues-rock sign of the times.
The song is from Keene’s 2020 album Them & Us.
