Steven Keene – This World Is Your World
From “Take Effect,” Tom Haugen, December 29, 2024
Take Effect gave “This World Is Your World” a 10/10, praising Steven Keene’s Guthrie-approved update of the 1940 protest classic as just as relevant today. The review highlights the band behind it: Matt O’Ree on electric guitar, Chris Russo on drums, Joseph Chiarolanza on bass, Lisa Testa on backing vocals, Arne Wendt on keys and Joseph Napolitano on pedal steel.
“Keene channels Guthrie’s spirit with tremendous adaptability, where an updated spirit carries on the legendary message.” – Take Effect
