Video Premiere: Steven Keene “Thesaurus”
From “Americana UK,” Andrew Frolish, September 11, 2025
Americana UK premiered the video for “Thesaurus,” Steven Keene’s playful tribute to Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen built around the idea of “stealing” their thesaurus. The review praises the song’s Dylan-like vocal and classic folk-rock sound, and places it on Notice Me, an album of originals, carefully chosen covers and an official co-write with Woody Guthrie.
“Above all, Keene shows great craft in his songwriting and skill in his performance.” – Americana UK
